Anti-rocket system

This system aims to shoot down incoming flying objects using a missile that doesn't have its own targeting sensor. Instead, external sensors precisely track both the target and the missile, sending updated interception coordinates to the missile as it flies. These external sensors need to be incredibly accurate and perfectly synchronized to guide the missile to its target for detonation.

Why it matters: The requirement for nanosecond-accurate synchronized external sensors was extremely challenging in 2015. Advances in distributed sensor networks, precise timing protocols, and real-time embedded computing could make this level of external guidance more feasible today.
