Contextual analysis engine

This invention describes a way to understand what a piece of digital text, like a webpage, is about. It works by first taking the raw text and breaking it down into small groups of words, called n-grams. Then, it creates a unique digital fingerprint for the text, where each n-gram is given a score based on how often it appears, to show its importance.

Why it matters: Filed before the widespread adoption of advanced neural network models for text analysis. While the claimed n-gram and frequency-based feature extraction is foundational, modern NLP tools can now perform the subsequent 'contextual analysis' with far greater semantic understanding and less manual feature engineering.
