Toy reactive to a signal

This invention describes a toy flower in a pot that can move its parts. A battery powers a hidden mechanism with a magnet and coil, which makes at least two parts of the flower move, such as opening or closing petals to simulate blooming. A sensor in the pot or flower detects changes like sound, temperature, or movement, and a tiny computer then tells the mechanism how to react.

Why it matters: Filed before widespread low-cost, low-power microcontrollers and integrated sensors made such interactive toy electronics more economical and easier to implement. Advances in embedded processing and sensor miniaturization since 2015 simplify its construction.
