Anti-rocket system

This invention describes a defense system designed to shoot down incoming flying objects, specifically ground-to-ground rockets. It uses a combination of active and passive sensors to detect and track the rocket, as well as a special interceptor missile that has no built-in guidance system. A central control system continuously tracks both the incoming rocket and the interceptor, guiding the interceptor to its target and detonating a warhead nearby if the rocket poses a threat.

Why it matters: Real-time sensor fusion and AI guidance algorithms have advanced significantly since 2013, potentially making this command-link system more precise.
