Silver metal nanoparticle composition

This invention describes a liquid mixture containing tiny silver particles suspended in water. A special type of water-soluble polymer, which has both carboxylic acid and sulfonic acid components, is used to keep these silver particles evenly spread out. The mixture is specifically designed to have more than 10% silver by weight, with a precise ratio of the polymer to silver.

Why it matters: Filed before modern chemical manufacturing techniques made scalable production of stable, high-concentration silver nanoparticle dispersions more feasible. Growing demand for advanced materials in flexible electronics or antimicrobial applications could now leverage this composition.
