Liveness detection

This invention describes a method to detect if someone attempting to log in using facial recognition is a live person, rather than a photo or video. A computer displays a moving element, like a dot, on a screen, and a camera captures images of the user's face. The system then checks if the user's eyes follow the dot's movement, specifically if they track a straight horizontal line. If the eye movements don't match the expected pattern, the system can deny authentication.
