Apparatus for producing a fire special effect

This invention creates a fake fire effect using steam. It works by shooting out a curtain of steam, then blowing air alongside it. A deflector pushes this air into the steam, and an agitator makes the air turbulent, creating a flickering motion. An LED light shines onto this moving steam to complete the fire illusion, with the fan's speed controlled digitally.

Why it matters: Filed when high-power, color-changing LEDs were expensive and less efficient. Today's LEDs offer superior performance and cost, while digital control systems are far more accessible for precise fan modulation.
