System, method, and apparatus for end-to-end control of water quality

This invention describes a system for water companies to ensure water quality all the way to a customer's home. It involves the water company treating and delivering water, but then, crucially, installing special customized filters at the customer's property *after* the water leaves the main distribution system. The system then monitors the water quality at that point and sends reports back to the water company.

Why it matters: Filed before widespread IoT and affordable, accurate water quality sensors. The ability to deploy and manage a network of distributed sensors and process their data has greatly improved since 2009.
