System and method for performing external and internal inspections of wind turbine blades

This invention describes a way to inspect wind turbine blades by looking at both their outside and inside. When a defect is found on one surface, the system identifies the corresponding spot on the opposite surface, using the blade's known dimensions, and displays both locations together in an image. This helps inspectors understand the full extent of a problem.
