User interfaces for computer-based inventory management

This invention describes a system for managing reservations for popular or scarce items, like concert tickets or limited-edition products. When a user requests a reservation from their phone, the system automatically calculates and suggests an extra fee based on how high the demand is for that item. It then presents a user interface on the phone to allow the user to accept or modify this suggested fee, and later another interface to confirm the reservation, including the desired delivery date and time.
