Energy storage system using second life batteries

This invention describes a way to reuse old electric vehicle battery packs in a larger energy storage system. A central computer monitors the health and performance of each individual battery pack by receiving data from their dedicated control units. Based on this information, the central computer then directs each battery pack on how to operate, and can also show its status to a user.
