Robotic Beverage Preparation System and Control Systems and Methods Therefor

A robotic system automates making coffee by using at least one robotic arm to precisely handle a portable filter. The arm first takes the filter with compacted coffee grounds to a weigh station to measure its mass. If the weight is incorrect, the arm then moves the filter to a station that removes excess grounds before finally transporting it to the brewing machine.
