Systems and methods for conducting and replaying virtual meetings

This invention describes a system for conducting virtual meetings where participants see a virtual room populated with avatars representing them. They can hear each other, and their avatars can make gestures for non-verbal communication. Participants can also share presentation materials, draw on a virtual whiteboard, and have private chats, with the claims specifically narrowing the gesture input to movements of a hand's digits on a touch screen or touchpad.
