Automated patent claim scope concept mapping

This invention is a computer program designed to help users analyze patent claims. It takes a patent document, extracts all the claims, and specifically identifies the main, independent claims. The program then displays these main claims and automatically suggests important phrases or concepts found within them. Users can select one of these suggested phrases, and the program will highlight every instance of that phrase across all the displayed independent claims, making it easier to understand the scope and connections between different parts of the patent.
