Biodegradable and/or home compostable sachet containing a solid article

This invention describes a sachet, like a small packet, designed to break down naturally in the environment or even in a home compost pile. It holds a solid, foamy product, such as a shampoo or conditioner bar. The sachet is made from specific layers, including a middle layer primarily of cellulose and an inner layer that could be polyvinyl alcohol or polyhydroxyalkanoate. The solid product inside is an open-cell foam made from a water-soluble polymer and a cleaning agent.
