Sulfide-impregnated solid-state battery

This is a solid-state battery made from stacked individual units. Each unit contains a positive and a negative electrode, both featuring a mesh-like current collector coated with an oxide-based solid electrolyte. These oxide layers act as separators between the electrodes. The entire battery core, formed by these stacked units, then has a sulfide-based solid electrolyte filling its internal pore structures. The cathode material is specifically a lithium transition-metal oxide, such as LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4.
