Partially-ordered blockchain

This invention describes a method for speeding up a blockchain system. It works by identifying multiple data blocks that are meant for the same time and don't rely on each other, then processing them all at the same time using different parts of a computer's processor. This allows the system to validate and store these blocks much more quickly than if they were processed one after another.

Why it matters: Since 2019, the demand for faster and more scalable blockchain systems has significantly increased, making parallel processing techniques like this more critical. Modern multi-core processors and distributed computing frameworks are also better equipped to handle the complex software logic required.
