Assessing postural sway in virtual or augmented reality

This invention describes a way to measure a person's balance using virtual or augmented reality. It tracks the user's head position with a headset (and optionally their hands with sensors) to figure out their body's center of mass. The system can also make the virtual world seem to tilt, like moving the horizon, to challenge the user's balance. Finally, it creates a report showing how much the user swayed.
