Secure automated teller machine (ATM) and method thereof

This describes an ATM that uses a camera to capture a user's face, processing it to create a unique "face print." This face print is sent to a central server for comparison against stored records. If the facial match isn't strong enough, the ATM can also request a voice input for additional authentication before allowing a transaction.

Why it matters: Since 2018, advancements in AI and machine learning have significantly improved the accuracy and robustness of facial and voice recognition, making reliable biometric authentication, even with varying image quality as described, much more feasible.
