Systems for providing and processing pre-authorized customizable gift tokens

This invention describes a system for creating and managing digital gift cards. A sender uses their device to request a gift for someone, specifying the amount and which specific stores the gift can be used at. A central computer system then generates a unique digital number for this gift. When the recipient attempts to use this number at a store, the system checks if that store is one of the allowed merchants and if the purchase amount is within the set limits before approving the transaction.
