Modular automated growing system

This system is for growing plants in modular units, each with a root and vegetative zone. It uses a lighting system that maintains a constant intensity of light in at least two specific color ranges. Nutrient fluid is held in an unpressurized tank and pumped to the modular units through a parallel feeding system, with quick-connect valves ensuring that individual units can be added or removed without affecting the fluid supply to other connected units. A more specific version of the system includes a second, pressurized reservoir that the pump fills from the unpressurized one.
