Passive leak detection for building water supply

This invention detects tiny water leaks in a building's plumbing system. It uses a separate flow sensor to confirm no one is intentionally using water, and a separate temperature sensor in a pipe. By analyzing how the water's temperature changes over time, especially when incoming water is colder, it can algorithmically identify the subtle patterns of a leak. A second temperature sensor can be used to refine the detection.
