Electronic apparatus and controlling method thereof

This invention describes an electronic device, like a phone, that uses two cameras with different views. Based on a user's input, the device prioritizes one camera over the other. When one camera is prioritized, it captures video at a high frame rate for display, while the other camera still records, but at a slower speed. If the user changes their input, the device can switch priority to the other camera, making it the fast-recording and displayed one.

Why it matters: Filed when dual-camera systems were emerging, modern mobile processors and camera software now offer significantly more flexible and efficient control over multiple camera streams and dynamic frame rates. This makes implementing such a system on standard consumer devices much more practical and performant today.
