Image quality scoring

This invention describes a system that learns what makes a good image by analyzing many already-scored images. When a user uploads a new image and its description, the system scores its quality and how well it matches the description. If the score is low, the system asks the user for a better image or suggests one from a stock photo library.

Why it matters: Filed before widespread access to powerful, pre-trained image analysis models. The machine learning component, which was specialized in 2017, is now more readily implementable with current cloud AI services.
