Method and apparatus of neural network based image signal processor

This invention describes an image signal processing system that uses a special kind of artificial intelligence, called a convolutional neural network, to improve pictures. The network works by splitting an input image into different detail levels, processing each level separately, and then combining them to create a better-quality output image. It learns how to do this by being shown many examples of raw images and what the desired improved versions should look like.
