If that primary receiver is not found, the device then connects to a secondary host, such as a computer, using a different wireless method like Bluetooth. Crucially, even while connected to the secondary host, the device continuously searches for the primary receiver and will automatically switch back to it if it becomes available, either periodically or after a user interacts with the device.
